SAAPE Condemns the Terrorist
Act in Mumbai, India

The SAAPE Secretariat
condemns the most barbaric and heinous acts of the terrorist groups
and individuals, that has claimed lives of above 150 innocent
citizens in Taj Mahal Palace and Oberoi Trident Hotels and other
important premises of Mumbai, India in last three days. It is
an act that has tarnished the humanity and spread hatred every
where, once again.
We express our strong
support and solidarity with the kiths, keens and the bereaved
family members of the departed souls, and the peace loving people
of Mumbai, India who are affected by this terror tactics. We urge
the government of India, in particular and governments of other
South Asia countries, in general, to guarantee the fundamental
rights of the citizens in their respective countries without any
lapses and failures of their governance. In the meantime, we also
request to all the friends in the Civil Societies of the region
to join hands fighting against terrorism and all other forms of
evil works. It is the need of the hour to strengthen peoples
solidarity for establishing lasting peace and ensuring justice.
We, once again, express
our strong solidarity and support with the people affected by
this terror carnage. We believe, the brothers and sisters affected
by this inhumane act will regain moral courage to cope with this
most tragic incident in their life.
