People's SAARC 2008 Preparatory Meeting Concludes

Conveners' Committee Formed

31 January 2008

Regional Conveners' Committee has been formed at People's SAARC 2008 preparatory meeting convened in Colombo on 31st of January 2008. This Committee is mandated to take forward the necessary preparations for organising People's SAARC 2008 at both country as well as regional levels. This Committee consists of 15 members representing all South Asian countries. The meeting was participated by several civil society actors from South Asian countries.
