SAAPE Core Committee Meeting and Regional Preparatory Meeting for People's SAARC - 2008

SAAPE Core Committee Meeting (CCM) and Regional Preparatory Meeting for People's SAARC 2008 is taking place from January 29 to 31, 2008 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The tentative agenda for the SAAPE CCM are:

Sharing on regional and country situations
Taking stock of SAAPE’s action plan, ’05 – ’08
Streamlining future roles & position of SAAPE
Thematic work review and discussions
Secretariat work

Siminarly, Regional Preparatory Meeting for People's SAARC is tentatively aimed at identifying the main issues/concerns to be engaged with, and initiatives and processes to be undertaken as well as deciding the final dates of the People's SAARC 2008. See [Draft Concept]
