SAAPE Secretariat
The Regional Secretariat stationed at RRN (regional focal point), Kathmandu is responsible to facilitate and co-ordinate the whole process of this undertaking for sharing experiences and expertise. Further to this, the role of the regional secretariat is to facilitate preparation to convene the widely represented and broad based regional conference so as to strengthen the civil society movements around the issues and concerns of poverty.
The secretariat is co-ordinated by RRN and its President Dr. Arjun K. Karki is working as co-ordinator of the network. The co-ordinator will be assisted by full time staff i.e. network facilitator. RRN in the capacity of regional focal point has agreed to contribute for the wage of co-ordinator, office space, website hosting and email and local travel.
